I bought a new Combustion motor for an older model pellet stove HHPP2BD Pelpro Stove. The part is correct, but it came with a different connector than I had. I had to cut the new connector off (Molex) & crimp a M & F spade connector to the wires. I also bought a new Low limit switch because the stove was having issues last winter. I am confused though because I connected the wires and when I plug the stove into the wall the combustion motor & the convection motor both turn on without hitting the start button. Lights flash on the control panel & the auger does not move. What am I doing wrong?

First we have to determine if you have the right parts for your stove.
Can you post a pics of the combustion blower & the low limit switch. The combustion blower must be 3000 RPMs and approx 1.0 amps. The low limit switch must be normally closed F-110 and open on rise. I suspect you do not have the correct low limit switch. Pelpro low limit switches work the opposite of most stoves!
