Bought a 2014 Englander 25 PDV pellet stove (knowing it worked but didn't feed pellets). Took bearing out of housing but notice a small knob
sticking out of the side. Does it matter where that goes, when reinstalling it?
Hello
That knob is the grease fitting because you should add red high temperature grease to the bearing once every year. This grease is available at Home Depot.

In Answer to your question, I usually position that zerk fitting facing toward the left side of the stove when looking in from the back so that I can easily get the grease gun on it.
Also if the pellets are not feeding then check the vacuum switch connected to the exhaust housing wit a silicone vacuum hose. Pull the hose off of the housing spigot and if it is brikttle and cracked that is your problem. You can get a new vacuum hose kit here.
