I need to replace the 3 pieces of firebrick on my USSC 5660. The center piece is much thinner than originally (due to burning, I guess) and the sides are broken at the top and around the edges.
I see that you sell Universal SuperWool Fiber Firebrick Substitute that can be cut to size. The current firebrick is half-inch thickness. It looks like the substitute will work for me. The total area is about 20 x 12 so the 22 x 14 one you have will work but the 24 x 20 is cheaper. What is the difference between the two half-inch products?
Also, the side pieces are beveled. Can the substitute be cut on the bevel to fit where the originals are located?
