Auger Not Turning

Evolution Pellet Stove Freestanding 25-EP 55-SHPEP 55-TRPEP

Hi! The auger isn't turning, and I'm getting an E2 error code (not igniting). I scooped out the pellets and nothing seems to be blocking it. Do we need a new auger? Or is the exhaust blower? How can I tell which it is?

E2 is failure to start within the 20 minute startup period. If you get an E1 after that then you have a vacuum error so in that case it could be a clogged or cracked vacuum hose or a bad vacuum switch or a leaky bad door gasket.
If all you get is an a error 2 then check if the pellets are dropping into the burnpot. If they are not dropping then you either have a jammed auger or a bad auger motor. You can check that by plugging the auger motor directly into the AC wall outlet. If the pellets are dropping and not lighting up, then you have a bad igniter. Check to see if you can see the hot igniter in the bottom right corner of the burnpot is red hot.
