Whitfield Advantage Plus exhaust air issue

Please check the following photos...new OEM Whitfield merkle augur motor installed. Collar nut installed and flame set at 3. Can I increase air flow or replace vacuum switch and new hose 20 year old stove. We live in colorado at 8200 ft. which may decrease air flow.

You can replace the vacuum switch and air hose but that will not change the air flow. That is a safety switch that only cuts power to the auger motor. Looks like there is not enough air flow because the flame is not flickering and very lively.
In this case I recommend

• Blow out the ash traps in the fir box with an air compressor.
• Adjust the air damper control for best flame.

Don, how is the damper control adjusted. I noticed on front left there is a lever with lock nut but not sure. I will replace the exhaust blower fan with an upgraded fan motor...this is most likely the problem since the motor is over 20 years old

Oh yes, replace the blower and the upgraded blower will work much better.
The damper rod should Be pulled out 1/4 of the way out.
If it was adjusted it should’ve ok, but good for you to check and see. :-)
