US Stove Pellet Stove Exhaust and Convection Air RTD Sensor - plugs into Control Board with 2 female clips - 80531

RTD Heat Sensor Platinum Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) for US Stove Wood Pellet Stoves and Funaces. The US Stove 4840 Wall Mount and 2400, 2401 and 2402 Window Mount stoves use 2 of these RTD sensors, 1 for the exhaust path and one for the convection air path.

If the RTD sensor is bad or loose the pellets will not feed properly. Also if unit takes too long to shut down this sensor may need replacement.

The sensors are located next to each other on the left side of the unit.

In the wall mount pellet stove if the RTD sensor has frayed wires that are shorting out, then it can damage the circuit board behind the keypad. You may purchase a new circuit board here.
