Hudson River West Point / Saranac Lower Auger Endplate Nylatron Upgraded Bearing- Replaces - PP4010

Auger end plate for Hudson River West Point / Saranac pellet stoves. Includes upgraded nylatron style bearing/bushing. Also comes with a bearing gasket.

The nylatron bearing keeps the auger motor running much longer than the OEM brass bearing that comes with the stove.

When upgrading the brass bearing, the nylatron bearing and nylatron endplate must be used together.

Also you must drill 2 mounting holes in the endplate. Use the original endplate as a template.

Note: Before installing this endplate on the pellet stove, check for good fit by placing auger into the nylatron bearing and endplate. Be sure you can turn the auger freely by hand. If not and the bearing is too tight then sand down the inside of the bearing with emery cloth available at your local hardware store.

Note: This bearing is for the original auger that has the 3/4" diameter shaft base. If the stove has the "Anti Jam" kit with the 5/8" diameter shaft base then this will not fit. The original auger tube has the U - Shaped auger tube the "Anti Jam" tube is completely round. In both cases the bronze bearing used will not work as good as the permenantly lubricated Nylatron or Nylon bearing.
