Breckwell- High Limit Switch (Snap Disc) - 3/4 Inch Manual Reset Thermostat – 300 Degree Open on Rise- Upgraded -Non OEM
Breckwell high limit switch L300 Manual Reset (snap disk.) Upgraded. Aftermarket. The high limit switch should trip if the internal stove temperature reaches 300 Degrees F and shut the auger and stove down for safety. Some stoves have auto reset hi limit switches. If they become faulty and trip they cause the pellet stove to shuts down and then reset so finding the cause of the shutdown becomes extremely difficult. This manual reset snap disc stays in the trip mode until you know the stove shut down for overheating and then you can manually press the red reset button on it. The stove just may be dirty and need a good cleaning or the exhaust blower or room blower failed or the high limit switch is old and faulty.
Fits Breckwell stoves and others that say L300 and mounts on a flat surface or over a 3/4" hole
